In every situation, anime and manga usually work like mood mirrors—when you're excited, they feel louder and faster; when you're stressed, they make everything feel more meaningful; and when life is quiet, the slow character moments are the ones that quietly stick. Also, anime is great when you want energy and emotion on tap, while manga is great when you want to control your own pace, notice details in the art, and reread a scene until it finally "clicks." In general, no matter what's happening, there's probably a character somewhere going through something similar—getting motivated in one panel, overthinking in the next, and then somehow making it funny right when you needed the laugh.
