I want to see the continuation of Komi's 100 friends goal.. Waited to see...
I think Komi Can't Communicate is actually better suited to rewatching than many people might initially expect. The first viewing naturally focuses on discovering the characters and seeing whether Komi will gradually become more comfortable interacting with other people, but subsequent viewings allow you to concentrate on the little comedic details and character interactions that are easy to overlook. Komi herself is an interesting character because the humor surrounding her communication difficulties can be interpreted differently depending on what the viewer already knows about her personality. Tadano, Najimi, and the enormous collection of eccentric classmates also create many small moments that can become funnier when you already understand their personalities. Another advantage is that the series doesn't require you to remember complicated lore or follow an elaborate mystery, so it is easy to watch an episode casually while relaxing. I particularly like anime such as this because a rewatch doesn't necessarily have to be about discovering something new; sometimes the appeal is simply spending time with characters you already like. Komi Can't Communicate has that comfortable quality where an episode can feel almost like visiting a familiar group of friends again, especially when you want something lighthearted rather than an emotionally exhausting series.
